Princess Cruises has been recognised as the Best Premium Cruise Line for the second year running at the recent Cruise Passengers Readers Choice Awards, with its superliner Dawn Princess claiming the award for Best Premium Cruise Ship.
Princess Cruises Commercial Director in Australia Stanley Birge said Princess Cruises has become a firm favourite with Australian travellers over the 10 years it has been operating in Australian waters.
“We’re delighted that Cruise Passenger readers are so fond of their experience with Princess Cruises. From the three Australian-based ships to the 13 ships deployed around the world, we pride ourselves in being destination experts, offering everything from 13-night New Zealand themed cruises across the Tasman to 104-night world voyages – so it’s wonderful to be judged as the best premium cruise line."
Mr Birge said the crew of Dawn Princess were thrilled with her recognition as Best Premium Cruise Ship.
"Dawn Princess has been sailing Australian waters full time since 2008 so it’s wonderful that Cruise Passenger readers have voted her their favourite. Our passengers regard Dawn Princess as a destination in her own right. They love her onboard offerings, from her wonderful warm and friendly service through to her great cuisine, as well as her features like Movies Under the Stars and the Sanctuary retreat.”
