Princess Cruises has unveiled two new round-trip itineraries from Auckland for the 2013-2014 cruise season onboard Sun Princess and Dawn Princess.
The four 13-night voyages travel from Auckland stop in Tauranga, Napier, Wellington, Akaroa, Port Chalmers and Fiordland National Park before heading to Sydney or Melbourne and back to the “City of Sails” with fares starting at NZ$2299*.
Other highlights of the 2013-2014 program include three fly/cruise voyages between Sydney and Auckland, priced from NZ$1599*, and a new short voyage between Auckland and Melbourne starting at NZ$699*.
A 14-night voyage on Sun Princess, departing Sydney, also offers a unique Queensland itinerary, stopping at Airlie Beach, Willis Island, Port Douglas, Brisbane and back to Sydney before heading on to the Bay of Islands and ending in Auckland.
Princess Cruises’ Commercial Director, Alan Stuart, said the new voyages were Princess Cruises’ biggest roundtrip offering out of Auckland yet.
“The addition of these new voyages is a reflection of Princess Cruises’ continued commitment to offering new and unique itineraries and a broad range of appeal for our New Zealand passengers,” Mr Stuart said.
Princess Cruises sails to more than 300 ports, offering more than 150 itineraries and has received the Recommend magazine “Best Itineraries” award for seven consecutive years.
