Peter Little – Senior Vice President Guest Experience, P&O

Peter has played a role within the Carnival Australia executive team since 2008. Currently, he holds the position of Interim Leader for P&O Cruises Australia and Carnival Australia. Concurrently, he serves as the Senior Vice President for Guest Experience for P&O Cruises Australia, highlighting his commitment to the business’s overall success.

In his capacity as SVP for Guest Experience, Peter shoulders significant responsibilities encompassing Hotel Operations, Customer Service, Onboard Revenue, Supply Chain, Port Operations, and Travel Services. Additionally, he plays an instrumental role in directing strategic Port Development within the region.

Before taking on his current role, Peter served as the Senior Vice President for Fleet Operations, where he had oversight of shipboard marine and technical functions for the P&O Cruises Australia fleet. Additionally, he was responsible for port and shore operations for the wider group in this region. Prior to relocating to Sydney, Peter held the position of Fleet Technical Manager at sister company Carnival UK in Southampton, effectively managing their Worldwide Fleet.

Peter's professional journey commenced with his training as a Marine Engineer at South Tyneside Maritime College. He began his career at sea on cargo ships, dedicating 17 years to honing his skills and progressing through various ranks from Cadet to Chief Engineer before making a successful transition to the cruise industry in 1991. He furthered his career by moving into shore management in 2004 and has since held various management and executive roles across the Corporation’s global headquarters.
