Carnival Australia reappoints IDNZ

Leading cruise operator Carnival Australia has reappointed IDNZ to handle its tour operations in New Zealand.

The appointment covers all New Zealand shore tours operated by three cruise lines represented by Carnival Australia: P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises and Carnival Cruise Lines.

New Zealand is a major destination for the cruise lines, which are scheduled to make more than 250 calls to North Island and South Island ports during the present summer cruise season.

IDNZ has been operating in the New Zealand market for more than 30 years, with its operations covering incentives, meetings and groups as well as cruise customers.

Announcing the new two-year appointment, Carnival Australia Senior Vice President of Strategy Neil Linwood said the cruise operator was delighted to continue its strong association with IDNZ.

“Our cruises to New Zealand cover a large number of ports so we are very pleased to have IDNZ offering a seamless operation across the entire country,” Mr Linwood said.

IDNZ Managing Director Jeremy Palmer said the company enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Carnival Australia.

“We are absolutely delighted to be reappointed and thereby continue to build on what is already a very well patronised programme of shore excursions in New Zealand for Carnival Australia and its associated brands,” Mr Palmer said.
