P&O Cruises Wins Vote for Best Family Cruise Line

P&O Cruises has been voted Best Family Cruise Line for the second year running in the annual Out and About with Kids Best of Family Travel Awards.

P&O Cruises Senior Vice President Tammy Marshall said the cruise line was delighted to win the family travel magazine award, given its emphasis on providing great value family holidays which everyone enjoys.

“Not only does P&O Cruises attract a lot of families, we also carry a large number of extended family groups, with everyone from grandparents to aunts and uncles and toddlers all cruising with us,” Ms Marshall said.

“It’s important to us that everyone in the family has a wonderful time on their holidays and winning an award like this is fantastic confirmation that we’re hitting the mark on that front.”

The award follows the introduction of a range of new family offerings onboard P&O Cruises’ ships including the largest adventure park at sea, P&OEdge, the popular Broad Shorts film animation experience and racing car simulators.

All three ships in P&O Cruises’ fleet offer four kids’ clubs – Turtle Cove (3-6 years), Shark Shack (7-10 years), HQ (11-14 years) and HQ+ (15-17 years).

The 2014 Out & About with Kids awards feature more than 20 categories across a variety of Australian and international travel products and are voted for by the magazine’s readers.
