Carnival Cruise Line is offering Australian holidaymakers the chance to add some fun times at sea to their next international trip, releasing a special selection of its best-selling Caribbean, Mexican and Alaskan cruises.
The 2017/18 Carnival international brochure features seven different cruise itineraries which have proved winners with Australian cruisers travelling to the US.
Top of the list are Carnival’s popular seven-night roundtrip cruises to Mexico from Los Angeles on Carnival Miracle, calling at fabulous ports along the Mexican Riviera including Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan.
Offering all the colour and flavour of Mexico from siestas to fiestas, the cruises are priced from $1283* per person twin share and were recently voted the Best Mexican Riviera Itineraries in the 2016 Porthole Cruise Magazine Readers' Choice Awards.
Also on offer are four vibrant Caribbean itineraries, exploring the beautiful beaches and warm waters of some of the 5000 islands and cays scattered throughout the tropical paradise.
Fares start from $1295* per person twin-share for a seven-night western Caribbean cruise on the stunning 130,000-tonne Carnival Magic, visiting Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico as well as Belize and Mahogany Bay.
Sailing from Orlando, the one-week cruises provide the perfect opportunity to combine one of Carnival’s trademark fun holidays at sea with a family holiday on land discovering all the thrills of Orlando’s theme parks.
Australian travellers can also enjoy eight-night Eastern and Southern Caribbean cruises from Miami onboard Carnival’s newest ship, the spectacular Carnival Vista, visiting ports like Grand Turk, La Romana, Bonaire and Aruba, with fares from $1559 per person twin share.
Launched earlier this year, the 133,500-tonne Carnival Vista offers a number of unique features, including a suspended cycling experience called SkyRide, the first IMAX Theatre at sea and ‘Family Harbor’, featuring special family accommodations and a family concierge, as well as a dedicated pool area. The ship’s outdoor spaces include a massive WaterWorks aqua park, highlighted by the 138m-long Kaleid-o-slide, the longest slide on any Carnival Cruise Line ship.
Meanwhile travellers who like a splash of ice in their holidays can head north to Alaska on Carnival Legend, a firm favourite with many Australians who have travelled on the ship during her summers Down Under.
Perfect for families, Carnival Legend’s seven-night roundtrip cruises from Seattle will take holidaymakers through the stunning waters of the last frontier to visit Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Tracy Arm Fjord as well as Victoria BC in Canada. Fares for the cruises start from $1715* per person, with departures available from May to August.
