Carnival Cruise Line creates caricature of a real Carnival cruise ship using 3D printing technology.

Today the world’s largest cruise line, Carnival Cruie Line, announced the arrival of its newest and smallest ship, Little Carnival. She will cycle year round in Australia from June 2018.

Will Calhoun of Big Kahuna Imagineering designed Little Carnival with CAD software and then 3D printed the ship to scale as a caricature of a real Carnival cruise ship.

Although she’s made of low density polyethylene corflute and moves using an electric trike, Little Carnival is complete with enough fun for the whole family, including the iconic Green Thunder waterslide.

Carnival Spirit is currently undergoing a dry dock in Singapore, so, Little Carnival will cycle her way to a number of Australian cities over the coming weeks, to bring a little FUN to those who are having cruise withdrawals.

With a top speed of 25km an hour, be sure to keep your eye out for Little Carnival as she makes her debut in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane over the next few weeks!
