P&O Cruises Academy Names 2000th Commodore

P&O Cruises Academy is celebrating a milestone with the graduation of its 2000th Commodore from the training program.

Travel consultant Alana Pearce from Flight Centre Mountain Gate in Victoria, climbed the ranks of the Academy program from First Officer to Commodore in under five months, achieving the result in December.

The online training program is designed to boost product knowledge and improve sales and features 24 modules and a final exam, covering topics such as customer service and sales, onboard products, destinations, and selling technology, including documentation and POLAR Online.

Academy training also offers a range of benefits including education credits with ICCA, priority access to shipboard events, access to graduation cruises and special offers and promotions.

The P&O Cruises Academy now boasts more than 8000 registered travel agents across Australia and New Zealand.
