Aurora and Acadia Offer Passengers the World in 2015

P&O Cruises World Cruising has announced two world voyages for its cruise ships Aurora and Arcadia in 2015, with each offering maiden port calls, unforgettable shore experiences, and extended stops at headline destinations.

Catering exclusively to adults, Arcadia will undertake a full world circumnavigation over 106 nights, with visits to 36 destinations in 25 countries. This classic voyage includes maiden calls to five exciting destinations, including Bitung in Indonesia, Darwin in Australia, Lahania in Hawaii, Manila in the Philippines and Sanya in China’s Hainan Province.

With fares from $20,249* per person twin share, passengers can experience the thrill of cruising under San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Bridge, explore the Panama and Suez Canals and witness the vibrant city skylines of Sydney, Shanghai and Hong Kong. 

The cruise also features extended calls in San Francisco, Honolulu, Sydney, Hong Kong, Dubai, Safaga and Sokhna (Egypt) to enable passengers to enjoy once-in-a-lifetime experiences in these ports – from tours of ancient civilisations visiting lavish tombs, temples and palaces in Egypt, to the hustle and bustle of modern day city life in Hong Kong.

Aurora’s 105-night South America and Pacific Adventure will appeal to adults as well as families as it takes in 30 destinations across 15 countries. Included on the antipodean adventure are three maiden port calls; Akaroa in New Zealand, Raratonga in the Cook Islands and Moorea in French Polynesia, as well as a maiden transit of the Magellan Straits.

With fares from $18,899* for the full world voyage, passengers will encounter the spectacular PIO X and Amalia glaciers in South America and the magic of New Zealand’s Fjordland, as well as stopping in for the fun of Rio de Janiero the white-sanded beaches of Montevideo and Santiago’s charming ‘Paris Quarter’.
