Seabourn is gearing up for its biggest Australian summer with two of the world’s newest and most luxurious ships, Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Sojourn, making an unprecedented number of visits to local ports.
Seabourn Odyssey will return for its third Australian summer on December 12, spending three months cruising between Australia and New Zealand before departing for Asia in early March.
The 32,000-tonne ultra-luxury ship will make an unprecedented 22 calls at 11 Australian ports from Darwin and Cairns in the north to Geelong and Burnie in the south during its longest and busiest Australian season.
Meanwhile, sister ship Seabourn Sojourn will also cruise local waters next summer as part of a 116-day world cruise.
During Seabourn Sojourn’s second visit to Australia, the US$300 million ship will make 11 calls at Australian ports as it cruises from Sydney to the west coast. The voyage will include maiden visits to Eden, Burnie, Geelong, Kangaroo Island, Bunbury, Geraldton and Exmouth.
Known as the “caviar of cruising”, Seabourn’s local cruise options include a range of 16 and 18-night voyages between Auckland and Sydney in December, January and February.
Fares start from $7159* per person double occupancy for a 16-day cruise on Seabourn Odyssey from Auckland to Sydney departing on January 10, 2014, with visits to Burnie, Melbourne, Geelong, Tauranga, Wellington, Picton, Akaroa, Dunedin, Oban (Halfmoon Bay) and scenic cruising in Queen Charlotte Sound and Fiordland National Park.
Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Odyssey feature the most exclusive all-suite accommodation available at sea as well as the largest spa on any ultra-luxury vessel. Other features include a library, boutiques, a marina for outdoor water sports, two outdoor pools and four dining venues, all at no extra charge.
Both ships carry only 450 guests, offering the highest space-per-guest ratio in the cruise industry.
