Cunard Line’s Famous Fleet Awarded Top Rankings in 2014 Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships

Cunard Line has dominated the Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising and Cruise Ships rankings for 2014, giving the company clear leadership over competitors in the “Large Resort Ship” category.

The top three ships are all Cunard: Queen Mary 2 (Grill class), Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria, which ranked first, second and third, respectively.

President of Cunard Line Peter Shanks said recognition such as this was only possible because of all the hard work and commitment shown by those on board and ashore to deliver outstanding experiences for both first timers and returning loyalists.

“We are delighted to have seen those efforts rewarded in top ship rankings from such an authoritative source as the Berlitz Cruising and Cruise Ships guide,” Mr Shanks said.
With the Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships in its 29th year, veteran cruise specialist Douglas Ward has spent nearly 6000 days at sea, examining ships on their accommodations, dining, service, entertainment, cleanliness and overall value. With more than 40 years of experience, he spends up to 200 days a year aboard cruise ships, inspecting and evaluating their facilities. His ratings are compiled independently and unsubsidised by any sponsorship.

Cunard Line offers sumptuous accommodations, fine dining, impeccable surroundings, superb entertainment and award-winning enrichment, and the legacy of historic voyages and Transatlantic travel.

Its three ships will all visit Australia in February and March 2014.
