UNVEILING QUEEN ANNE. THE NEXT IN A FINE LINE.

Queen Anne Fine Line

Following the eagerly anticipated name reveal of Queen Anne on 8th February, Cunard now proudly introduces exciting details of how the ship will set the benchmark for luxury ocean travel. Those on board Queen Anne will enjoy an unparalleled voyage experience, designed by some of the world’s foremost designers in luxury hospitality. Reimagined Cunard signature spaces alongside the introduction of brand new venues bring guests greater choice, all delivered through Cunard’s White Star Service.

Designers David Collins Studio, Richmond International and Sybille de Margerie, working with the Creative Director Adam D. Tihany, are collaborating to create an extraordinary and thoughtful design - inspiring a new way to travel by sea. Having been immersed in the Cunard archives, the talents, whose portfolios include luxury hotels, bars, restaurants, high end yachts, and private grand residences, have ensured that Queen Anne exudes classic Cunard style while showcasing many new considered touches. Queen Anne’s breath-taking interiors take inspiration from Cunard’s past, celebrating the beautiful art deco style finishes that the brand is known for, to define a striking new design direction for the future.

Queen Anne’s distinctive design language is echoed throughout, underpinned by timeless Cunard sophistication and impeccable attention to detail. The ship will also feature displays of inspirational art created by both established and emerging young artists.

Queens Grill Grand Suites offer guests their own private residences and deliver a new level of exclusivity, with each finish carefully curated in every room. Designed by David Collins Studio, they represent the epitome of luxury, from a dedicated dining room with an adjacent butler’s pantry, to walk-in wardrobes, marble finished bathrooms with views out to sea, a spacious bedroom and the largest balconies onboard. The Princess Grill Suites, designed by Sybille de Margerie, are warm and inviting with bespoke furnishings including dressing table and bar area with a feature wall panel, while the Britannia balcony staterooms provide cosy sofa seating areas looking out to sea, and light, bright bathrooms with glass walk-in showers for a more relaxed, luxury experience.

Queen Anne offers guests complete freedom of choice. From grand venues that create the perfect backdrop for stylish celebrations, to those that provide the perfect opportunity to switch off into a world of relaxation or engage in more active pursuits both inside and on deck. With a total of fifteen restaurants on board - all distinctive – guests will enjoy a wide variety of cuisines, ambience and décor from the striking interior of the Britannia Restaurant to the relaxed atmosphere of Cunard’s ever-popular Golden Lion pub. From laid back light bites and indulgent treats, to the ultimate in fine dining, guests can feel free to dine as they wish, indoors or alfresco, throughout the entire day.

For guests in search of excitement or inspiration, entertainment venues on board Queen Anne will include the flagship Royal Court Theatre, a sumptuous two-deck 825 seat space showcasing a wide variety of musical, celebrity headliners and insightful speakers, a reimagined Queens Room hosting spectacular events and Gala Evenings plus a variety of other exciting brand new venues and concepts to be revealed.

For those in search of a more tranquil sanctuary or to stay active, Cunard’s Mareel Wellness & Beauty has venues across the ship. Featuring the widest selection of fitness, beauty, thermal and spa facilities so far seen on a Cunard vessel, Queen Anne will present an exclusive array of treatment rooms and a private spa suite alongside an awe-inspiring new top-deck wellness studio.

Lee Powell, Cunard Brand Vice President says, ‘Queen Anne represents the next chapter for the Cunard brand. She embodies all the characteristics that make this brand so well-loved and at the same time reimagines the complete ship experience extending the Cunard Line for future generations.  She will be the finest ship of her era’.

Carnival UK President, Sture Myrmell comments, ‘I’m delighted and immensely proud to welcome Queen Anne to the Cunard fleet. This marks one of the most significant periods of growth in the company’s history and the addition of Queen Anne adds exciting opportunities across our iconic fleet. With a fourth ship in the fleet, guests can see more of the world on Cunard, with Queen Anne introducing new concepts and reimaging the definitive experience of ocean travel. We are sure our loyal Cunard guests, and those we will welcome for the first time, will love the Queen Anne experience.’
