CARNIVAL GUESTS DIG DEEP FOR BUSHFIRE RELIEF

This week, Carnival Cruise Line’s Cruise Directors Lee Mason (Carnival Splendor) and Chloe Loddo (Carnival Spirit) took the plunge down the Green Lightning and Green Thunder waterslides after guests were challenged to raise $5,000 for the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.

In the spirit of fun and mateship, both Lee and Chloe pledged to plummet down the famous slides dressed in ballgowns, if guests rose to the challenge. Before the week’s end, passengers onboard both ships were able to raise an amazing $15,200.

Earlier this week Carnival Cruise Line, in partnership with sister brands (P&O Cruises Australia, Princess Cruises, Cunard, and Holland America Line), pledged $350,000 to the Australian Red Cross Bushfire Appeal to support those communities affected by the bushfire crisis.

Carnival will continue to facilitate donations from guests in the coming weeks through onboard donations.
